Twisted Tweens: Introduction

Hello, Dekoposh readers! On Thursdays, I'll be writing the Twisted Tweens column. But, before I get carried away, I need to introduce myself.

Call me Zachary. Or call me Zach. Or call me Whatever-You-Like. I'm not picky. Of course, you have to call me a Kansan, because I've lived in the Sunflower State my entire life. Also, you have to call me a homeschooler, because I learn at home. Unfortunately, you can't call me a Tween, because I'll turn 17 this March. Please, don't hold this against me. For five years, I was a Tween. Now, I have a tweenage brother, tweenage drama students and tweenage friends. I might even have tweenage cats, but I don't know how to translate cat years into human years.

I like writing, theatre, animals, empty pages, good food, impressive full moons and board games. I like other things, too. But you'll forget what they are if I list them all now. By the way, this list looked similar when I was a Tween.

Just so you know, I'm very excited about writing this column. I can't promise what I will write about. But Tween life is related to a lot of awesome subjects, so I don't think I'll run out of ideas.

Although, I do have a question this week. If your brain gets cold, what do you do to warm it up? I'm considering putting a stocking cap over my head, but then I'm afraid my thoughts won't be able to get in and out properly. Maybe you don't even have this problem if you live in a warm place. Sadly, my windows look like solid panes of ice. But weather is very unpredictable in Kansas; I might wake up with a room temperature brain tomorrow.
