Jason from Pencil Bugs wrote a few words for us...
Some people ask if it's hard to have a business and still be a regular kid. Luckily, both my parents believe that childhood is too short so they make sure I get to enjoy it while I can. That means that school comes first, then my business and I still have lots of time to play and be a kid. If I get overloaded with school work and there is a lot of business stuff going on, my mom totally takes over. She's the best manager, secretary, marketing person, and the most amazing mom in the whole world. I know I couldn't have done any of this without my parents and am thankful
they support my ideas and help me so much. When I'm not doing school work or Pencil Bugs work, I like to play video games but I have limits as to how much I can play and I don't play the really graphic ones with blood and guts. I like swimming in the summer and playing golf with my dad when we can. My advice to kids or anyone who wants to start a business is to at least try it.
You'll never get anywhere by sitting on your ideas. Just remember that it's not always going to be easy and you might have many times you want to quit -- but don't! If I had given up, I wouldn't have had the fun opportunities I have had.
Thanks, Jason!
