Just wanted to give you guys some quick ways to stay fit and be active during the summer!
Swimming
A great way to stay cool in the hot summer sun! Instead of just floating around with a juice box, why not get some friends together for relay races? Have someone time your laps and try to beat your record! Not only is this a great workout, but it's a lot of fun!
Playing Games
Not going to the pool? Get some neighborhood buddies together and play a game! Baseball, basketball, football, soccer... the list goes on and on! It doesn't matter what you play as long as you have fun and keep moving!
Not a sports person?
I'll admit- I'm not much of a sports person... I'm more of a reader. That doesn't mean I can sit on the couch all day! (And neither should you!)
Walk the dog. Rollerblade around the neighborhood. Turn up some music and dance until you can't feel your toes! It's not that hard to stay active, you just gotta keep moving!
Don't forget to stay safe this summer everyone!
Put on your suncreen anytime you go outside - sunburns are no fun and can really put a damper on your summer activities.
Be sure to put on any protective gear while playing sports or rollerblading.
Make sure your parents know where you are at all times.
