Kids Day
Kids Day 2008 is Tuesday, March 11.
Each year, thousands of volunteers from Merced to Tulare Counties sell a special Kids Day edition of The Fresno Bee to support Children’s Hospital Central California. This year’s goal is to raise $375,000.
There are several ways to get in on the fundraising excitement. You can have a friendly competition among businesses or face off against a rival school. Businesses can also pre-order newspapers. Those papers can be given to customers and employees, they can be resold to double your donation to Children’s Hospital or they can be donated to children and families at Children’s Hospital. Save the DateThe Kids Day Golf Tournament will be held Friday, March 7 at Brighton Crest Golf & Country Club and the Kids Day Motorcycle Run is March 8. Be sure to check back in the coming weeks for more information about these exciting events.
Kids Day History
Kids Day is joint project between The Fresno Bee, ABC 30 and Children’s Hospital.
Since its beginning in 1988, the Kids Day campaign has raised more than $2.8 million for Children’s Hospital.
