Hey V.I.T.'s (very important tweens and teens) Deko and Posh here. Our blog is a view of all the news happening around the world that effects us. We find the Top Stories of the Day and we post them for you to read. We would like your input on all these issues we face today as tweens and teens. Nothing is off limits. Nominate a Tween or Teen that is making a difference
D.A.P.L. (Deko and Posh) here...We are going to be highlighting tweens and teens every month on making a difference either through volunteering, awards, activities, and/or making a difference. Here are the rules, you can nominate yourself or someone can nominate a V.I.T., the tween or teen must be between the ages of 8-19, an essay and/or write-up about yourself or the person you are nominating must be emailed to us at info@dekoposh.com, we need the full name-age-gender-and location (address not necessary just city, state), please tell us all you can so we can make our choices. We look forward to hearing about what all our V.I.T.s (very important tween & teens) are doing to make a difference.

Usher is giving Teens a Chance to be a Music Video Director

It's no secret that Usher is a hero to teens. Through his Usher's New Look Foundation, he teaches kids how to be moguls, giving them the skills necessary to make it in the entertainment industry. And we've seen him firsthand do some major bonding with teens who are doing their part to make the world a better place.

But now he's upping the notch once again, and offering teens a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Have you ever dreamed of becoming a music video director? Have you posted your own spots on YouTube and just need an extra boost? Is your head brimming with ideas on how to put your vision to the screen?

Well you don't have to grow up to make it happen. Usher has teamed up with Dreaming Tree films and Body by Milk to give 20 teens a shot at producing video for songs off of his new 2009 album. You can apply now at bodybymilk.com. In addition to being able to boast having directed an Usher video, the winners will also score some sweet swag like VIP Usher tickets, a MacBook Pro, and Final Cut Pro editing software to continue their filmmaker dreams.
