Next Monday, March 30, The White House Project will pay tribute to innovators in democracy and the media at the 2009 Epic Awards, recognizing their indelible impact on the next generation of women leaders. The 2009 Epic Awards will take place at the United Nations in New York with a reception at 6 p.m. and dinner and awards at 7:15 p.m.

Voto Latino will receive an EPIC Award for the outstanding impact they have had in the last four years on the next generation of Latinas. Actress Rosario Dawson, Co-Founder and María Teresa Petersen, Executive Director will accept the award.
