Mariposa's Connections: Dangerous Drama

So recently there's been a lot of drama between my friends and guys. Two of my close friends have a crush on the same guy, and it's kind of tough to know what to do. Of course, my friends are similar, so it makes sense that they like the same guys, but knowing exactly how to deal with it is another thing.

Or maybe it isn't.

Because when a bunch of us girls like the same guy (or a bunch of guys like the same girl), we need to realize that, in the end, it isn't a competition. You can't beat someone, or literally compete for someone - you have to realize that it's his - the person you like's - choice. So, if we like someone everyone else likes, sometimes we have to wait - because even though we've chosen them - they still have to choose us. But even though that's part of what makes crushes so frustrating, it's also what makes crushes so much fun & beautiful.
