Arts & Crafts Day at Mattel Children's Hospital UCLA

Hey V.I.T.s,

You know we are all about giving back and teaching you how to do the same!!! Well on Monday, April 27th we spent about two hours with some kids from Mattel Children's Hospital UCLA doing a little arts and crafts. We brought in items from our home like chip boxes, cereal boxes, cracker boxes, and toilet paper cardboard rolls to teach the kids that they could make cool projects with everyday items. This is a great way to recycle and teach kids about going green. We had a blast. We were so lucky to have some celebrities join us for the fun. Kristina Apgar from CW Privileged, Tracy Hutson from Extreme Makeover Home Edition, Aria Wallace from Roxy Hunter and iCarly, Simon Curtis form Nickelodeon Spectacular, Austin Anderson singer-actor-amazing dancer, and Daechelle who has her hit song Fearless on the Bratz CD. I think what we all got out of this day was it doesn't matter what the economy is doing good or bad, there are ways to bring joy into kids life especially those kids that are going through some rough times in their life. Here are some pictures for you to enjoy of our day...

Aria made a bracelet for a very sweet little girl!!

Aria and Mom! Beautiful...

Kristina with a very special little boy!

Simon Curtis had a great time with this special little boy.

BTW...you can own a pair of jeans from these celebrities which are autographed and have their dream for 2009 written right on the jeans. Go to Charity Folks

The END!
