Mariposa's Connections: Playing Hard to Get

We've all heard of it: playing hard to get. Especially when we really like someone, but we're not sure if he/she likes us back, playing hard to get can be the best tactic, right? That way the other person has to put himself out there to show he likes you - and you don't have to risk as much yourself. However, the game of playing hard to get only takes us so far.

For example, we can run into problems if the other person is playing the same game. And, not only that, but if we start dating someone we used to play hard to get with, it can be really hard to transition from being hard to get to trying to find out who that other person is. So while being hard to get is good, just make sure there's a good balance & don't overdo it ;)
