Hey y'all!
I just wanted to briefly write about interviewing for jobs! I'm in the process of finishing my last final exam EVER and also have spent a lot of time preparing for some interviews lately, so I'll make this a little short and come back to the subject later.
When you're getting ready to interview for a job, whether it's at the mall or a Fortune 500 compant, it's a really good idea to do your research. Look up the website of the company you're applying for. This way, even if you have no prior job experience, your answers can better relate to questions. It would be incredibly embarrassing if your first question was "what do you know about this company?" and you didn't have an answer!!
You should also practice. I love sitting around with my Dad and having him throw questions at me. It seems a little scary, but the bottom line is that you have no idea what they might ask you, and you need to be able to think on your toes and be comfortable listening to and thoroughly answer the questions asked.
You'll feel much more confident (I know I do!) when you take the time to practice and read. The more you know about the company, the more you know whether or not you can successfully do the job!
