Amelia's Book Room: Naomi And Ely's No Kiss List

A while back I reviewed Rachel Cohn and David Levithan's first collab novel, Nick And Norah's Infinite Playlist, which was a great book. Well, the dream duo is back with Naomi And Ely's No Kiss List!

First off, I want to mention the cover: I love a good book cover, one that really draws you in and makes you feel cool when you pick it up and start reading. The moment I saw this banana-yellow cover with the simple gum-wrapper title, I knew I wanted to read this book. It would definitely catch your eye in the bookstore!

But, another thing I love is a good story, which this is. We get to know the inseparable team that is Naomi and Ely. The best of friends, they do everything together. You can't have one without the other. Naomi holds a secret longing for herself and Ely to fall in love, get married, all that. But the thing is, Ely is gay.

For a while now, they have had a mutual 'no-kiss list', of boys that they are, you guessed it, not allowed to kiss. But, they suddenly become not-so-inseparable when Ely kisses the one boy they never thought to put on it: Naomi's boyfriend, Bruce.

This was another awesome book from Rachel and David, and I think you guys'll really enjoy it. I hope they write more soon! Have a great week, and keep on reading!
