One Pimple is One Too Many - Unpredictable Weather

Hello hello!

How are all of you this week?

Today I want to talk about unpredictable weather -- something all of us have encountered at least once in our lives. One minute you're enjoying the sunny weather then BOOM, lightening and thunder crowds all around you!

What do you do?

First of all --
don't panic.

It's okay to be a little scared, the key is to not that let that fear overtake you.
Stay calm.
If you're outside and have any furniture that could be potentially hazardous, make sure to secure it at once.
Take extra caution with dealing with anything with metal. It attracts the lightening.

If you're on the inside, find the candles/flashlights/other light sources immediately so in case the power goes out -- you're not searching around the dark for anything you might need.

Stay away from windows; I know how cool it is to look at the storm but it's much safer to stay away.

After the storm has passed, if you need to do clean up -- be sure to wear fully protected shoes and yard gloves if you have any.

As always, talk to your parents about setting up an emergency plan in case of inclement weather. You can also set up a plan in case of fire, burglary and other kinds of trouble.

Never live in fear -- that's not a good way to live.
But it's smart thinking.

Prepare for the worst; expect for the best.

Have a great week everyone!
