One Pimple is One Too Many - Homework Tips

Hey all!

How are you this week?
Doing well I hope!

Today I want to give you some basic homework tips that have been really helping me the past couple of weeks.

- Read the materials BEFORE hand.
Don't wait until right before test day to cram everything in. That's unfair to your brain and unfair to you! Take time out of your day -- EVERYDAY -- and study!

- Do the homework ON TIME.
Another don't -- do NOT wait until the very last minute to complete your homework. This is especially relevant to all you college kids out there. If procrastinating til the last minute and then getting a good grade worked for you in high school, be prepared. IT DOES NOT WORK IN COLLEGE.

- Ask your professor/teacher for help
More often than not, the professor/teacher WANTS to help you. They know the material better than anyone and should be able to help you with anything you need. If not...

- Ask OTHER STUDENTS for help
But not just anyone/everyone. Setting up a homework study group with your best friends or with people who are at the same level as you might not be the smartest idea. When you're studying, study with people who make consistently high grades (so you can learn from them and their study habits!) and while your best friend may be at the top of her class, it's easier to get distracted and talk for 3 hours rather than study!

Short and sweet;
Like many other college students, I've got to run!
Busy schedules but like always,
keep a positive attitude and enjoy the ride :)

Hope you have a great week!
