We find the Top Stories of the Day and we post them for you to read. We would like your input on all these issues we face today as tweens and teens. Nothing is off limits. Nominate a Tween or Teen that is making a difference
D.A.P.L. (Deko and Posh) here...We are going to be highlighting tweens and teens every month on making a difference either through volunteering, awards, activities, and/or making a difference. Here are the rules, you can nominate yourself or someone can nominate a V.I.T., the tween or teen must be between the ages of 8-19, an essay and/or write-up about yourself or the person you are nominating must be emailed to us at info@dekoposh.com, we need the full name-age-gender-and location (address not necessary just city, state), please tell us all you can so we can make our choices. We look forward to hearing about what all our V.I.T.s (very important tween & teens) are doing to make a difference.

Daily Good Gossip

Actress and singer Vanessa Hudgens has donated the Candie’s Couture dress she wore at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards for a public charity auction on eBay to benefit Stand Up To Cancer.

The silk georgette size-two gown, frosted with silver baby sequins, designed exclusively for Hudgens, will go live Monday, January 23rd at 4PM PT/7PM ET through Thursday, February 2 at 4PM PT/7PM ET at ebay.com/vanessahudgens.

“I am proud to continue to support Stand Up To Cancer and all the incredible work they do,” said Hudgens. “Cancer touches all of our lives in some way and I am honored to donate this gorgeous Candie’s Couture gown to help to raise funds and awareness for this important initiative.”

Hudgens, a strong SU2C supporter, participated in the star-studded Change the Odds PSA and was part of the 2010 Stand Up To Cancer telecast. Photos from the event can be found on her official website.

“We are very grateful to Vanessa and eBay for their ongoing support,” said Stand Up to Cancer co-founder and Entertainment Industry Foundation CEO Lisa Paulsen. “This generous donation and exciting auction helps further our mission to fund innovative life-saving research.”

This is Hudgen’s first auction through eBay Celebrity, a unique eBay shopping destination that auctions off celebrity-donated merchandise and memorabilia, benefiting charitable causes. Other eBay celebrity participants include: Christina Aguilera, Jeff Bridges, Michael Cooper, Robert Duvall, Jimmie Johnson, Wladimir Klitschko, Sienna Miller, Hayden Panettiere, Katy Perry, Brad Pitt, Troy Polamalu, Tarina Tarantino, and Joe Walsh.
