Hey V.I.T.'s (very important tweens and teens) Deko and Posh here. Our blog is a view of all the news happening around the world that effects us. We find the Top Stories of the Day and we post them for you to read. We would like your input on all these issues we face today as tweens and teens. Nothing is off limits. Nominate a Tween or Teen that is making a difference
D.A.P.L. (Deko and Posh) here...We are going to be highlighting tweens and teens every month on making a difference either through volunteering, awards, activities, and/or making a difference. Here are the rules, you can nominate yourself or someone can nominate a V.I.T., the tween or teen must be between the ages of 8-19, an essay and/or write-up about yourself or the person you are nominating must be emailed to us at info@dekoposh.com, we need the full name-age-gender-and location (address not necessary just city, state), please tell us all you can so we can make our choices. We look forward to hearing about what all our V.I.T.s (very important tween & teens) are doing to make a difference.

Lady Gaga's Charity Launch To Be Streamed Live

The Born This Way Foundation (BTWF) launch event featuring Lady Gaga and her mother, Cynthia Germanotta, at Harvard University will be streamed live to the BTWF website on Wednesday, February 29th, 2012 from 4:00-5:30pm EST.

Viewers worldwide will now be able to watch as Lady Gaga unveils BTWF for the first time before a panel of distinguished guests including Oprah Winfrey, Deepak Chopra, U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services, Kathleen Sebelius, Harvard Law Professor Charles Ogletree, Psychologist Susan M. Swearer and actor/host and LGBT parent and spouse David Burtka as well as a crowd of policy makers, non-profit organizations, foundation leaders, students and youth at the Harvard Graduate School of Education’s Askwith Forum.

BTWF has partnered with the John D. & Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, The California Endowment and Berkman Center for Internet & Society at Harvard to explore the best ways to reach youth and create a new culture of kindness, bravery, acceptance and empowerment. BTWF, a non-profit charitable organization, will address issues like self-confidence, well-being, anti-bullying, mentoring and career development through research, education and advocacy. With a focus on digital mobilization to create positive change, BTWF will lead youth into a braver new society where each individual is accepted and loved as the person they were born to be.

iStreamPlanet will be the official streaming partner for the event, providing live HD web broadcast via the BTWF YouTube Channel extending the event to online viewers around the world. Musiek Media Group Inc./Musiek Music will be providing complete video production services for event.
