Hey V.I.T.'s (very important tweens and teens) Deko and Posh here. Our blog is a view of all the news happening around the world that effects us. We find the Top Stories of the Day and we post them for you to read. We would like your input on all these issues we face today as tweens and teens. Nothing is off limits. Nominate a Tween or Teen that is making a difference
D.A.P.L. (Deko and Posh) here...We are going to be highlighting tweens and teens every month on making a difference either through volunteering, awards, activities, and/or making a difference. Here are the rules, you can nominate yourself or someone can nominate a V.I.T., the tween or teen must be between the ages of 8-19, an essay and/or write-up about yourself or the person you are nominating must be emailed to us at info@dekoposh.com, we need the full name-age-gender-and location (address not necessary just city, state), please tell us all you can so we can make our choices. We look forward to hearing about what all our V.I.T.s (very important tween & teens) are doing to make a difference.

Lady Antebellum Aims To Rebuild Town After Tornado
In the spirit of spreading positivity, tea company Lipton is joining Grammy Award-Winning trio Lady Antebellum to recognize Henryville, Ind. for its strength and resilience following last month’s devastating tornadoes.
To honor the inspirational town, on May 16 Lady Antebellum will hold a special performance and community celebration at the KFC YUM! Center in nearby Louisville, Ky. Lipton is giving an opportunity for fans around the country to get involved by creating a special destination, www.rebuildinghenryville.com, where people can learn more about Henryville, donate to the rebuild and share words of support for the community. For every $1 donation received, Lipton will match up to $50,000.
“Lipton was already working with Lady Antebellum on an exciting new campaign to spread positivity and bring fans together when we were introduced to the community of Henryville,” said Heather MacNeil, Lipton. "We were moved by the community’s sense of unity and in the spirit of “Drink Positive,” we immediately jumped on board to support the rebuild effort."
The Henryville project originated as part of Lady Antebellum’s contest offering their fans the chance to win a prom performance. After reviewing numerous submissions, the band chose Henryville for their inspiring story following extensive tornado damage.
Lipton and Lady Antebellum encourage people to show their support for Henryville and make a donation by visiting www.rebuildinghenryville.com. Tickets for the “Rebuilding Henryville” performance at the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, Ky. are also available at Ticketmaster.com. All donations and concert proceeds will go to the New Hope/Indiana Bankers Association for the Disaster Relief Fund.
