Nominate a Tween or Teen that is making a difference
D.A.P.L. (Deko and Posh) here...We are going to be highlighting tweens and teens every month on making a difference either through volunteering, awards, activities, and/or making a difference. Here are the rules, you can nominate yourself or someone can nominate a V.I.T., the tween or teen must be between the ages of 8-19, an essay and/or write-up about yourself or the person you are nominating must be emailed to us at, we need the full name-age-gender-and location (address not necessary just city, state), please tell us all you can so we can make our choices. We look forward to hearing about what all our V.I.T.s (very important tween & teens) are doing to make a difference.

Hope for Children Brings Out The Stars

Samsung’s annual Hope for Children Gala is set for June, 4, 2012, in New York City, and boasts a guest list including Jennifer Hudson, First Lady Laura BushJohn Legend and many more.
The annual philanthropic fundraiser raises funds for several high profile charitable organizations, including the Boomer Esiason Foundation and foundations headed by Arnold PalmerDan MarinoJimmie Johnson and Jennifer Lopez.
Earlier this month, ’What’s Trending’ announced a unique partnership with the Samsung Hope for Children Gala to support and host the official live streamed Red Carpet show on June 4 from the American Museum of Natural History in New York.
Through Hope for Children, Samsung works with its partners and charitable organizations headed or chosen by well-known public figures to promote their respective organizations’ objectives in the areas of children’s health, education and sustainability.
This year’s guest list also includes Boomer EsiasonEli Manning, Drew Brees, Joe Torre, Jason Taylor, Jamie-Lynn Sigler and Kevin & Danielle Jonas. Past celebrity attendance has included Demi MooreJason Mraz and more.
