Taylor Swift Keepin' The Music Alivetaylor swift

Our favorite country pop star is at it again. Taylor Swift has donated $4 million towards music education. (Hear that? It’s us singin’ her praises.)
A longtime supporter of the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, Swift’s donation will fund an education center. The Taylor Swift Education Center will be both an exhibit and classroom space. The 22-year-old’s gift is the largest the museum has ever received from an artist. And it’s the second largest from an individual.
“In terms of what it will allow us to do, we do education very well now,” said museum director Kyle Young. “It will allow us to do what we do better, serve more people, [and] develop new programs.”
The center will be part of an expansion that’s set to include three classrooms—allowing for more youth education programs. A musical petting zoo and “wet” classroom to make concert posters/art projects are also in the works.
According to Young, Swift wants to take on an advisory role in what the museum does. (See why we love our girl Taylor? )
