We find the Top Stories of the Day and we post them for you to read. We would like your input on all these issues we face today as tweens and teens. Nothing is off limits. Nominate a Tween or Teen that is making a difference
D.A.P.L. (Deko and Posh) here...We are going to be highlighting tweens and teens every month on making a difference either through volunteering, awards, activities, and/or making a difference. Here are the rules, you can nominate yourself or someone can nominate a V.I.T., the tween or teen must be between the ages of 8-19, an essay and/or write-up about yourself or the person you are nominating must be emailed to us at info@dekoposh.com, we need the full name-age-gender-and location (address not necessary just city, state), please tell us all you can so we can make our choices. We look forward to hearing about what all our V.I.T.s (very important tween & teens) are doing to make a difference.

Taylor Swift Donates Shoes To Celebrity Charity Auction

Soles4Souls, the international shoe charity, announced today a complete line-up of a-list celebrities who decided to take off their shoes for a good cause, including shoes from Taylor SwiftRyan SeacrestJimmy Fallon, Chase Crawford, and more.
The charity is also auctioning off 4 destination trips that will go towards supporting their mission of providing shoes for individuals living in poverty. The auction is being hosted on the charity auction site CharityBuzz.com.
The online auction will include vacation packages to Chicago, Napa Valley, San Francisco, Washington, DC, as well as a 12 person race team for Ragnar Relay – there are many options to choose from. The a-list celebrity shoe auction includes a pair of Christian Louboutin autographed shoes from Camille Grammar, a pair of shoes signed by actor Jonah Hill, and many more. The auction will be featured on CharityBuzz.com until September 13th.
“For most celebrities, the shoes they wear are an important reflection of their personality and fashion taste. But for millions of adults and children around the world, their shoes are a necessity to protect them from life-threatening diseases like hook worm,” said Kevin Goughary, CEO of Soles4Souls. “This auction is a perfect example of one person’s shoes being able to make a real world difference is someone else’s life.”
