Beyonce Donates Music Video For Good
All the single ladies Beyoncé-loving humanitarians out there listen up.
The United Nations, Beyoncé and humanitarian aid organizations are teaming up to launch a global campaign that encourages people to perform acts of kindness for others.
The singer is performing in a music video for her song “I Was Here” in front of a live audience outside the UN General Assembly Hall in New York City. Beyoncé is donating the music video to the organization and it will be released August 19th. (We cannot wait.)
The campaign gives everyone the opportunity to share his or her act of good through the internet. They hope to reach 1 billion people a day. With Beyoncé on board, this goal will be a piece of cake.
“World Humanitarian Day is an opportunity for all of us to work together to make a difference,” said Beyoncé. “This is our time to leave our mark on the world and show that we were here and we care.”
