Pink Polka Dots Junior Guild

deko and posh here...We have a very amazing and inspirational story for all of you. This is what we like to see. About four years ago, four best friends in 5th grade from Seattle, Washington were just your typical best friends. Their names are Kelsey, Sierra, Maddy, and Sydney. In 2005 the unthinkable happened-Sydney was diagnosed with a brain-stem glioma, a rare inoperable tumor. Sydney did not survive and this left Kelsey, Sierra, and Maddy very upset and frustrated that their friend could not be saved. Wow!!! Can you imagine? These girls went to work and formed Pink Polka Dots Guild (PPD) and are raising money for brain-cancer research. They held a garage sale and raised $9000.00 and they sell greeting cards designed by various members of the group. They host yearly golf tournments and they have raised over $40,000.00 so far. They are just amazing. You can read about them in this June issue of TeenVogue. Awesome story!
