Hey V.I.T.'s (very important tweens and teens) Deko and Posh here. Our blog is a view of all the news happening around the world that effects us. We find the Top Stories of the Day and we post them for you to read. We would like your input on all these issues we face today as tweens and teens. Nothing is off limits. Nominate a Tween or Teen that is making a difference
D.A.P.L. (Deko and Posh) here...We are going to be highlighting tweens and teens every month on making a difference either through volunteering, awards, activities, and/or making a difference. Here are the rules, you can nominate yourself or someone can nominate a V.I.T., the tween or teen must be between the ages of 8-19, an essay and/or write-up about yourself or the person you are nominating must be emailed to us at info@dekoposh.com, we need the full name-age-gender-and location (address not necessary just city, state), please tell us all you can so we can make our choices. We look forward to hearing about what all our V.I.T.s (very important tween & teens) are doing to make a difference.

Twisted Tweens- Addiction

Addiction- according to the Merriam- Webster dictionary the definition of addiction is the compulsive need for and use of a habit forming substance. Characterized by tolerance and by well-defined physiological symptoms upon withdrawal.
We understand that this definition is really meant to describe addiction to habit forming drugs like herion, nicotine or alcohol which we should not need to explain to you are bad, and we hope none of you are ever struggle with any addiction of this sort!
However, we have found ourselves struggling with an addiction that has proven to be something really fun and positive in our lives! When we do not have time to do it we go through withdrawal, and miss it terribly! Can you guess what it is?
TWITTER!!!!!
If you choose the right people to follow, you can learn about the most amazing things! The latest news in the world, music, books, your favorite TV shows, fashion, gossip, and much more.
You end up finding people with common interests who you can share your thoughts and feelings with. People from all over the world who's opinions you may never have thought about until hearing what they think of things.
We learn new things from people on Twitter everyday. We have even tweeted we were having a bad day and had our Twitter friends share kind words that put us in a better mood! How great is that?
So, if you are one of those people who have not yet taken the time to check out Twitter- WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? It is free and you have nothing to lose, and only new friends and information to gain! Use common sense and never give out personal info. like your address etc: Remember that people are not always who they say they are. There are always posers who want people to think they are someone that they are not. But if you are sensible you will have fun joining the huge family of "tweeters"
