One Pimple is One Too Many - Adventure

Hello everyone!

Apologies for getting this late to all of you -- I just got back from vacation :)

Today I want to talk about adventure.
What is an adventure?

Some would say an adventure is a backpacking trip through the mountains in Europe.
Others would say an adventure is canoeing down the Amazon river.
Then there are those who consider rush hour traffic an adventure!

What do you consider an adventure?
Have you gone on an adventure this summer?

Now I know what you're thinking -- "Ariel, what are you talking about? Adventure? There's only a few weeks left in summer... I haven't even gone anywhere this year."
Well, who says you need to go out of town to go on an adventure?

((Be sure to ask parent's permission first))
Go on an adventure in your city!
If you live in a large city, there is probably cool 'tourist-y' things you can do. Pretend to be a visitor to your hometown. Take pictures, have fun and pretend like everything you've seen a million times is new and exciting.
If you live in a small city, make the most of it! Interview local shop owners and document your trip around your city. You can pretend you are on safari, observing small town people in their natural habitat.

If you're older and able to drive, see if it's okay with your parents to travel to a city near you. Then you really are a 'tourist'. Have fun and enjoy the day.

Remember, you are never to old to use your imagination.

Be safe, ask your parent's permission before doing anything ((and make sure they give you their APPROVAL!)) and have a great week everyone :)

Ariel <3
