We find the Top Stories of the Day and we post them for you to read. We would like your input on all these issues we face today as tweens and teens. Nothing is off limits. Nominate a Tween or Teen that is making a difference
D.A.P.L. (Deko and Posh) here...We are going to be highlighting tweens and teens every month on making a difference either through volunteering, awards, activities, and/or making a difference. Here are the rules, you can nominate yourself or someone can nominate a V.I.T., the tween or teen must be between the ages of 8-19, an essay and/or write-up about yourself or the person you are nominating must be emailed to us at info@dekoposh.com, we need the full name-age-gender-and location (address not necessary just city, state), please tell us all you can so we can make our choices. We look forward to hearing about what all our V.I.T.s (very important tween & teens) are doing to make a difference.

Selena Gomez to Launch New Perfume in 2012

Selena Gomez launches new fragrance

Watch out, Bieber. Selena Gomez is ready to prove she knows a thing or two about fragrances, too. The soon-to-be-19-year-old is set to release her very own scent next year.

According to a press release, Selena has teamed up with an "extreme sports and adventure-themed lifestyle brand" called Adrenalina, which will help develop, manufacture and distribute the singer's first perfume around the world.
"We are incredibly enthused to be working with Ms. Gomez and will reveal more details pertaining to the fragrance as we get closer to the launch date," Ilia Lekach, chairman and CEO of Adrenalina said.

Since it's still in development, there's no word on what the perfume will smell like, but it's slated to hit stores for the Spring 2012 season. Boyfriend Justin Bieber just sold $3 million worth of his scent, Someday, setting a record with his three-week numbers. Can Selena do the same?

We'll just have to wait and see. However, Sel has already edged Bieber out once -- the 'Who Says' singer topped Justin by scoring the No. 1 spot on Billboard's Social 50 chart earlier this month.
