One Pimple is One Too Many - Stress

Hello all!

Happy September! Most of you should have started school by now, how have you been? Are you loving your classes? Disliking one of your teachers? Overloaded on homework already?

Whether you love school or hate it, it's always good to keep a balance between schoolwork and having fun.

One of my biggest mottos in college is "work hard, play hard". Now, many of you hear that phrase and think "play hard" always means going out and drinking the night away.
NOT TRUE.

To me, "work hard, play hard" means that for however hard I study, work or do other really important academic things, I "play" just as hard by relaxing, hanging out with friends and trying to maintain a stress-free life.

It may seem that the stress of life is something that cannot be avoided. However, stress can be avoided by a few easy steps!
- Take things one week, one day even one second at a time!
If you have a lot to do instead of mentally calculating what you have to do for every second of every day, keep a schedule and if it's not within the hour... calm down! I do not recommend procrastination at all but if you plan accordingly, you can focus all your attention to the task at hand rather than worrying about what you have to do next.
- Don't forget to take a breath.
We all have a lot to do. Especially all you high school and college students, there's a lot to accomplish in a short amount of time... it can get pretty hectic. A good thing to remember is that you can only take one breath at a time. Just breathe. Be calm. Do your best and trust that everything will work out.

Don't worry about tomorrow for tomorrow has enough worries of it's own....
Just breathe. :)

Have a wonderful stress-free month!
