Taylor Swift's 'Ronan' To Honor 3-Year-Old Cancer Victim
Tay Swift is at it again. The country-pop star is dedicating a special song to a young boy, Ronan Thompson, who lost his life to neuroblastoma (cancer that develops from nerve tissue) last year.
After reading his mother’s blog, Swift was inspired to take action. And wrote “Ronan” in honor of the 3-year-old. T-Swift is going to debut the song at Friday’s (today!) “Stand Up to Cancer” telethon. The 22-year-old also credits Ronan’s mother, Maya Thompson, as the co-writer.
Taylor definitely takes the title “Celeb Gone Good” to new levels! We <3 her.
