Mariposa's Connections: What to do for Valentine's Day

There's the chocolates, the flowers, the stuffed animals, the jewelry, etc. for Valentines Day. But do you really just want to buy something for your valentine? Do you want to do something that's expected - a routine? Here's some ideas for mixing it up:

-Have flowers delivered to your valentine's door.

-Go out to dinner or a concert: after all, what's more special than spending time with that person?

-Do something random: leave a little note with a poem somewhere obvious, give a phone call telling them you love them, or even try singing a song.

Sometimes the thought means so much more than the money ;)

For those who don't have a valentine, hang out with your friends or do something fun - it's usually hard being alone on Feb.14, so set aside some time to do something you want to do.

Sadly, I won't have a valentine on the 14th, but I do have class that day, so I'll be with fun friends. Thanks for the tips, Mariposa!

I love Valentines Day, everyone brings me chocolate. I am going to go see that Shopping movie, that is right up my alley.
