Amelia's Book Room: The Girlfriend Project

Reed is a nice guy. A bit of a dork, but his friends say he's nice. He's never had a girlfriend, never even kissed a girl. He's seventeen years old. He decides it's time for a change.

With the help of his best friends Ronnie and Lonnie White (brother and sister), he starts a dating website for himself, to see if anyone's interested. Turns out, lots of people seem to be. But what if the girl he really wants isn't one of them; instead, she's right in front of him? Yup, he's got a crush on girl-next-door Ronnie. But she's already dating someone. This is a fun story, and I think you'll enjoy finding out what happens to Reed!

Robin Friedman has written other novels such as Nothing and The Importance Of Wings. Is everyone going to see the new Harry Potter film this week? I am! :) We've started the Dekoposh Book Club for this month; join us live on the blog July 30th at 6pm to discuss Airborn by Kenneth Oppel! Keep reading, and don't forget to comment!

P.S. Might I add that the heart-shaped computer mouse on the cover of The Girlfriend Project is awesome?
