Pittsburgh trio Donora will release their sophomore album, Boyfriends, Girlfriends next Tuesday. The sister-brother-friend trio recorded the album (the follow-up to their 2008 self-titled debut) in their home studio. The vibe of the album is candy-coated indie pop. (That's what I've decided after listening to the whole thing front to back about 25 times this week. Boyfriends, Girlfriends is that good.)Donora says of the new album: "We had a blast recording [it] and would love you to have a blast listening to it. We recommend listening while holding hands with your boyfriend/girlfriend. Or better yet, blast it while you're by yourself in your bedroom and dance around like a fool."
