OK, so I had to write two Column's today, you know how I love Interior Design especially for our rooms, apartments, and/or dorms. This Column goes out to Nicole our Style Injection Column Writer, she put in a request for wall collage's...here you go girl! I love all these ideas. 1) Need art work on your walls but can't afford it....go to your local fabric store and purchase your favorite fabrics and then make a trip to Walmart, Target, Michaels, or a thrift store and purchase some frames. While at Michaels they have glues and spray mounts that you can purchase to glue your fabric down in your frame. 2) I love this one.
Winsor & Newton offers paint-by-numbers art. The kit comes with the canvas, the paints, and everything you need. What a cool way to have Original Art Work on your walls painted by you! Love it!!! 3) KISS (Keep it simple student) place your favorite photos, drawings, art work, and/or magazine clippings in the same simple plexi frame and hang them in a straight line on your wall. Great Modern look for your room. 4) OK all of you, I absolutely love this one too. The idea is amazing. Gather baskets from your attic, from the thrift store, from your parents, from garage sales and spray paint them your favorite color. Now gather photos, fabrics, wallpaper, artwork, you get the idea and trace a pattern with your basket. Now cut out your photos, fabrics, wallpaper, artwork with the pattern and glue them in the basket, oh la la! I hope you love these ideas. I am throwing this picture in because this is how I envision Amelia our Reading Room Column Writer's bedroom. A beautiful bed to sleep in with a million books at her reach to read anytime of the day and night. We will have to see what Amelia's says. It's a great idea for all you readers who don't know what to do with all your books. Place a bench at the end of your bed and stack all your books, it looks good and tidy!
