Unfortunately, I am in the process of getting over a small cold, and I get a massive headache every time I move, so this is gonna be short and sweet. Not to mention I haven't read this book in a long time. :)Edwina "Eddie" Beckey is eleven years old, lives in New York, her best friend is Sally Hobart, and she loves to make lists. For every time she does something she's not supposed to, she snaps one of the six rubber bands on her wrist. And.... that's about all I remember about the plot, sorry, guys! What I love about this book is everyone's interesting names. Sally's grandmother is named Wilhelmina, Willie for short, and Eddie's mother is Mildred. And, of course, Edwina herself.
Although I'm having a brain lapse about Snap, I remember that it was a really good book. Alison McGhee is the author of several other novels, including Shadow Baby, Was It Beautiful?, and Rainlight. She got the idea for Snap from a phase during which she wore rubber bands to try and snap her bad habits away.
