Hey V.I.T.'s (very important tweens and teens) Deko and Posh here. Our blog is a view of all the news happening around the world that effects us. We find the Top Stories of the Day and we post them for you to read. We would like your input on all these issues we face today as tweens and teens. Nothing is off limits. Nominate a Tween or Teen that is making a difference
D.A.P.L. (Deko and Posh) here...We are going to be highlighting tweens and teens every month on making a difference either through volunteering, awards, activities, and/or making a difference. Here are the rules, you can nominate yourself or someone can nominate a V.I.T., the tween or teen must be between the ages of 8-19, an essay and/or write-up about yourself or the person you are nominating must be emailed to us at info@dekoposh.com, we need the full name-age-gender-and location (address not necessary just city, state), please tell us all you can so we can make our choices. We look forward to hearing about what all our V.I.T.s (very important tween & teens) are doing to make a difference.

Get Involved Column by Deko-Teen Celebrities Giving Back


Hey V.I.T.s,

Here is an opportunity for you, June 13, 2009. Debby Ryan and Jason Dolley will be part of the Teen Celebrity Team supporting sick children and their families at the Walk for Kids. Your opportunity to meet Debby and Jason, help raise money for The Ronald McDonald House, and volunteer to help. What are you waiting for, log on today and sign up to walk with a team of your friends, or support Debby and Jason by sponsoring them, and/or volunteer your time that day.

The mission of Los Angeles Ronald McDonald House is to support the health and well-being of children by providing a “home away from home” for families of seriously ill children who are receiving care in Southern California.

For over 25 years, the Los Angeles Ronald McDonald House has been uttering these words to families of seriously-ill children who have needed a place to stay close to their loved ones. To date, we have provided more than 20,000 families with a place to stay, a shoulder to cry on and when necessary the financial support that they have needed to make it though a very uncertain time in their lives.
