Life After College-Moving On

Hey everyone!

Sorry it's been a few weeks since I last wrote. It's going to be a short one, just filling everyone in....

So I did get the new job, and it's great. I've been there two weeks and it's been busy busy just getting oriented with everything and everyone. I had a freak out moment last week...I finally realized I wasn't a "student" anymore, and that I had a real job in a real career field and I am an ADULT now. Technically I've been an adult for a couple of years now but i really FELT it the other day. It feels good in a weird way haha.

Of course, beginning new opportunities meant saying goodbye to people I used to work with. I will still visit them of course and keep in touch. I made some really special friends where I used to work and I think that's important too....realizing that you may not always speak to old high school or even college friends but you spend the most amount of your daily time with your coworkers and some of them can become your best friends.

With that being said, I am a little exhausted from my brain taking in so much information!!
Hope everyone is enjoying their summer, and I promise to write more next week :-)

Good for you! Yes, it is hard staying in touch with everyone but you are on a new adventure---new career, new co-workers, and new friends! Congrats...
