Hey V.I.T.'s (very important tweens and teens) Deko and Posh here. Our blog is a view of all the news happening around the world that effects us. We find the Top Stories of the Day and we post them for you to read. We would like your input on all these issues we face today as tweens and teens. Nothing is off limits. Nominate a Tween or Teen that is making a difference
D.A.P.L. (Deko and Posh) here...We are going to be highlighting tweens and teens every month on making a difference either through volunteering, awards, activities, and/or making a difference. Here are the rules, you can nominate yourself or someone can nominate a V.I.T., the tween or teen must be between the ages of 8-19, an essay and/or write-up about yourself or the person you are nominating must be emailed to us at info@dekoposh.com, we need the full name-age-gender-and location (address not necessary just city, state), please tell us all you can so we can make our choices. We look forward to hearing about what all our V.I.T.s (very important tween & teens) are doing to make a difference.

Top Stories

Design For Whitney Port!


Whitney Port is giving fans and Celebuzz readers the opportunity to design a limited edition Whitney Eve sweatshirt! Users can enter the contest by uploading their design in the comments section below.

Port is looking for a design that is “natural, carefree, sassy, heavenly, and colorful.” Check out this white, zip up, hoodie, with pockets as an example above!

Here are the rules:

  • Design a limited edition Whitney Eve sweatshirt (JUNIOR SIZED)
  • Can only contain ONE graphic, either on front or back but NOT both!
  • Original pieces of artwork ONLY
  • You may use anywhere from 1-8 colors
  • All entries must be submitted by midnight on August 14

    • HOW TO ENTER:

    Upload a photo in the comment section below of your design. To upload your photo, simply click the “Add Photo” link under the comment section and follow the instructions.

    Important note: You must be a Celebuzz member to add photo comments (click to join), or you can enter through Facebook Connect. Please only submit one (1) photo. If you submit more than one, all entries will be disqualified.

Whitney will be posting her favorite designs throughout the week leading up to the announcement of the winner, which will be revealed on August 15.

So now for the good stuff: what do you get?!

The winner will get a $250 gift certificate to Whitneyeve for $250 and three free sweatshirts!
