Shailene Woodley Launches Charity At

Vanities

On February 20, 2012, Vanity Fair and Juicy Couture, along with Vanity Fair West Coast Editor Krista Smith and The Descendants actress Shailene Woodley, kicked off “Campaign Hollywood” week by hosting the “Vanities” 20th Anniversary in support of All It Takes at Siren Studios.

This invitation-only reception kicked off Vanity Fair “Campaign Hollywood 2012,” the magazine’s annual week-long series of events and one-of-a-kind moments in support of charitable causes that lead up to the Academy Awards.

Guests included hosts Krista Smith and Shailene Woodley, along past “Vanities” subjects, supporters of All It Takes, industry insiders and celebrities including Ali Larter, Amy Adams, Amy Smart, Hayden Panettiere, Kate Flannery, Malin Akerman, Marcia Gay Harden, Molly Sims, Olivia Munn, Rashida Jones, Stacy Keibler and many more.

For the past two decades, the opening page of the monthly Vanity Fair feature, “Vanities,” has been like a second cover for the magazine, showcasing the brightest talents among a new generation of young actors and actresses. Many of these up-and-comers have gone on to achieve great critical success and global fame.

The evening also served as the launch of All It Takes, the nonprofit organization cofounded in 2010 by actress Shailene Woodley and her mother, Lori Woodley that focuses on environmental integrity, youth leadership, and health awareness, and provides the tools, opportunities, and education needed to generate the momentum for meaningful change.

Guests enjoyed music by D.J. Pesce, a sampling of the latest products from L’Oréal Paris, and the opportunity to check out the new 2012 Fiat 500 on display.

Juicy Couture added their own special touch to the event with custom décor elements. Juicy Couture embraces the bright and glamorous fun of its Los Angeles heritage by discovering the couture in the everyday, and delivering an element of surprise in all of its designs. Famous for elevating the tracksuit to its current status as a casual-luxury icon, the brand continues to evolve, bringing the same confident, whimsical, and feminine attitude to everything it creates.
