One Pimple is One Too Many - Beauty

Hello everyone!

How are you? I went and saw the Book of Eli today. Man, it was so good! :)

Today I want to talk about beauty.
You've heard the phrase, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder." What do you consider beautiful?

In America, the perception that thinner is better and to have any flaws makes you ugly.

NOT TRUE.

Even supermodels have cellulite!
The truth is: YOU are beautiful just as you are! Tall, short, skinny, fat = those are all just labels. You are beautiful just as you are.

A powerful video to watch:

See? Beauty, true beauty, isn't found in the magazines. It's found every time you smile. It's in your mom, your sister, your aunts and cousins. In your friends and in yourself = you are beautiful :)

((And to all the guys: YOU ARE HANDSOME! :) ))

Have a great week everyone!

Mariposa's Connections: Open the Door to Peek Inside

I’ve noticed that who we have a crush on is often determined by how that person looks. If we see a perfect looking guy, or a stunning girl, it's hard not to have a crush sometimes – in fact, it’s completely natural. But what if that person turns out to want you for the wrong reasons? What if that person lies – or cheats? It’s amazing how fast their beauty can turn invisible.

So it’s fine to be attracted to someone for their looks, just remember why you stay with them: because they’re beautiful on the inside as well.

Less Talk, More Action

This is what our world looks like...should always look like...
It's stunningly beautiful...

But because of our wasteful tendencies...this is what we could end up living in...

It's time for a change. It's time to GO GREEN.
