Learning Curve: Busy Bees!!!

Hey guys!!!

I'm sooooo sorry I've been AWOL these last few weeks! Things don't usually get real busy around here, but you can always tell when they do. I've had like ZERO time with my laptop, ipod, or anything electronic for like the last week and a half...well, I had my phone, but that doesn't really count. :P

Anyway...let's play a little catch-up shall we?

So, 2 weeks ago, I went to Tulsa, OK with some friends to see Honor Society! Best day of my LIFE!!! We met the gentlemen (and they truly do live up to that name) at the local pop station in Tulsa that afternoon while they were doing an interview. They were running late so after the interview they came down and took pictures/signed autographs for the 20 or so girls that were waiting outside.

My HS autographed CD!!!

Me & Jason Rosen. He plays keyboard, guitar, and does vocals! What a beast! LOL

Me & Michael Bruno(vocals & guitar)...yes guys he really is that short! It's ok, I still love him!

Me & Andrew Lee (bass & vocals) are green!!! LOL He's a sweetheart.

Me & Alexander Noyes (drums) <3...absolutely adorable. love him 10000x more after actually meeting him!

I met a lot of really cool girls and had an awesome time at the show. I can't wait until i get to see them again.

Since then I've been going non stop. Everything at school and home is keeping me BUSY!! We're right in the middle of football season, which means it's MARCHING SEASON! woot woot!! This is my little sister's first year actually marching with the band, so from now until December (I think) my weekends are booked pretty solid. Games on Friday followed by marching contests on Saturdays. If you've never taken the time to actually watch your schools marching band perform, I highly recommend that you do. Those kids are athletes just like anyone else. My sister and the rest of the marching band give up so much of their free time just to make sure that they are PERFECT! There are days when she leaves the house at 7 AM for school and I don't see her again until 11 or 12 that night because of band. They work hard. So show the band kids at your school some respect!! They really are pretty cool once you get to know them.

I know that this isn't my usual blog, but these last few weeks have been pretty UNusual for me. Life as a college kid just means you have to roll with the punches a lot of times. It's definitely not a boring life!

<3 Jen
