Hey V.I.T.'s (very important tweens and teens) Deko and Posh here. Our blog is a view of all the news happening around the world that effects us. We find the Top Stories of the Day and we post them for you to read. We would like your input on all these issues we face today as tweens and teens. Nothing is off limits. Nominate a Tween or Teen that is making a difference
D.A.P.L. (Deko and Posh) here...We are going to be highlighting tweens and teens every month on making a difference either through volunteering, awards, activities, and/or making a difference. Here are the rules, you can nominate yourself or someone can nominate a V.I.T., the tween or teen must be between the ages of 8-19, an essay and/or write-up about yourself or the person you are nominating must be emailed to us at info@dekoposh.com, we need the full name-age-gender-and location (address not necessary just city, state), please tell us all you can so we can make our choices. We look forward to hearing about what all our V.I.T.s (very important tween & teens) are doing to make a difference.

Jesse McCartney To Host ALIVE New York 2012
Accomplished singer-songwriter, actor, and voice actor Jesse McCartney will host ALIVE New York 2012, one of the largest celebrity awards shows of the year.
The event honors nominees ranging from Russell Brand to Will Smith. Due to both the long list of top celebrity attendees and a staunch dedication to preserving health and humanities worldwide, ALIVE has been dubbed “The Academy Awards of Health & Humanities.”
The event will take place from June 29th to the 30th in Times Square, New York City. Awarding major celebrities for their courageous and profound work in the health and environmental realm, ALIVE and its attendees will raise awareness over serious health and environmental issues in addition to supporting life-saving programs and institutions across the United States.
Starting off with a 2 day conference full of internationally recognized speakers and experts, ALIVE will contain a prominent red carpet arrival period featuring A-list celebrities and performances by many chart-topping artists.
ALIVE New York is a unique charity fundraiser for the people by the people. ALIVE will establish the very first all-natural immune clinic within the United States, complete with a sophisticated children’s ward, horseback riding, a fully-equipped research center, and several acres of greenhouse gardening dedicated to growing organic produce.
Ticket proceeds will also go towards over 15 charities dedicated to improving the health and living conditions of the general public. Both Global Livestream and physical tickets can be purchased on the ALIVE website, and are 100% tax deductible. You can also donate to the ALIVE foundation and further the message of health and empowerment across the world.
