Justin Bieber's Charity Christmas Album Debuts at #1
Justin Bieber's new Christmas album, Under The Mistletoe, has debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart with first week sales of 210,293 units.

The album is Justin’s third album to enter the chart at #1 before his 18th birthday, after My World 2.0 (April 2010) and Never Say Never: The Remixes (February 2011, soundtrack to the highest domestic-grossing concert film in history, $75 million).
“I am so proud of Justin and his continuing streak of #1 successes,” said Steve Bartels, President/COO, Island Def Jam Music Group. “This collection of endearing new songs and inspired holiday classics kicks off the season perfectly. The incredible result is a testament to Justin’s talent, his dedicated fan base and the hard work of the entire IDJ family.”
In the spirit of the season, Justin will donate a portion of proceeds from Under The Mistletoe to charity. Justin has also launched the Believe Charity Drive with a goal to amass millions of dollars in total charitable donations by the time his new album, Believe, hits stores in 2012. Some of the charities to benefit include Pencils of Promise, Project Medishare for Haiti, City of HopeMake-A-Wish FoundationBoys' and Girls' Clubs of America,Musicians on CallStarship FoundationTeenage Cancer Trust and the Grammy Foundation. Justin chose these organizations for their emphases on education, youth wellbeing, and, of course, music. Contributions will also be made to additional localized charities in certain international markets.
