Car buffs rejoice as 14-year-old restores vintage Fiero

Most kids blow their little money on some combination of candy and terrible music, but one badass 14-year-old Michigan girl named Kathryn has spent the past 15 months putting her baby-sitting bank toward the full restoration of a rusted-out 1986 Pontiac Fiero, which she approached her parents about buying when she was just 12. Her story was posted by her dad on Pennock's Fiero Forum, where members have not only been following the young girl's progress, but have started asking Kathryn for advice on their own rebuilds! Kathryn's goal: Have the Fiero fully road-ready by her Sweet 16.
